Public Meeting Set for Commercial Rehabilitation District

The potential purchaser and developer of the former Tecumseh Public Schools administration building may soon be in for a tax abatement.

The city may consider freezing the taxable value on the property for up to 10 years for developer LRC Commercial of Lathrup Village, which has entered into a $40,000 purchase agreement with the school district with plans to redevelop the property into apartments.
