Experience Downtown
Downtown Tecumseh is a celebration of the entrepreneur. Tucked inside historic buildings, you'll find an interesting mix of more than 100 specialty shops, professional services, boutiques and dining options. Shopping plazas at the north and west ends of town round out a full selection of additional restaurants, retailers, services and groceries.  In addition to retail shopping districts, Tecumseh is home to manufacturing and industrial firms.

Experience Art and Recreation
In Tecumseh we value our high quality of life! Our Parks and Recreation Department boasts over 350 acres of parks and trails throughout the city. You can pack a picnic and enjoy an outdoor concert during the summer or play a round of championship golf! The vast variety of activities include kayaking, pickle ball courts, skateparks, tennis courts, and fishing.

The Tecumseh Center for the Arts hosts an excited assortment of live events and shows throughout the year for all ages and interests! The modern, fully-equipped performance facility features seating for nearly 600 guests and is available for national events or to support our local theater community. Featuring everything from Broadway stars to your favorite bands and national touring acts, the TCA always offers a captivating experience for your family and friends.

Throughout the City, you'll find dozens of public art displays including sculptures, murals, and interactive music gardens that make up Art Trail Tecumseh. Art Trail Tecumseh celebrates Tecumseh as a leader in our region, providing arts and cultural opportunity, community engagement and entrepreneurship within the arts community.

Excellent educational facilities are provided through the Tecumseh Public Schools and the Lenawee Intermediate School District (LISD). The LISD and Southern Michigan Center for Science and Industry can tailor industry-specific programs to focus on the needs of area businesses.
