VOTING AND ELECTIONS
Administration of local elections is the responsibility of the Clerk.  The City of Tecumseh has a population of 8,680 as of the 2020 Census data.  Of those, just over 6,500 are active registered voters in the City with roughly 7,600 total registered voters.  Tecumseh has two precincts divided east and west of the center line of Union Street. All voters vote at the A.J. Smith Recreation Center located at 810 North Evans in Tecumseh.

EARLY VOTING COMES TO MICHIGAN IN 2024! Voters in Michigan are now eligible to cast their ballot in person before the election. Dates and times vary from municipality to municipality or county to county. Lenawee County will host nine days of early voting at the Lenawee County Health and Human Services Building in Adrian.

The City of Tecumseh will exercise privileges under new legislation to tabulate absentee voter ballots early. Early tabulation dates and times are as follows:
