The City requires a one-year residency for citizens interested in serving on any of the City of Tecumseh's Boards and Commissions. Appointments are made by City Council after reviewing written letters of interest from residents qualified to fill vacancies for full and partial terms.

- Zoning Board of Appeals: Seeking Two (2) Alternate Positions
- Historic Preservation Commission: Seeking (2) Tecumseh residents for the board

Should a meeting date fall on a Sunday or legal holiday, the meeting will be held on the next succeeding day at the same time and place.
