Until shortly before relocating to Tecumseh, she served as director of Illinois Stewardship Alliance, a statewide non-profit organization promoting farmers in sustainable and organic farming. Gayle holds graduate degrees in political science and currently is adjunct faculty at Siena Heights University in the Masters of Business Administration Leadership Program and substitute teaches in Tecumseh area schools.
