The Tecumseh Products made compressors for refrigerator. However, the Faraday company made fire alarms, so that is probably the company your father worked for.

I am new here but not new to Tecumseh. I was hoping that I could find more out about the company my father worked at. We were always in the area fishing on weekends as a child. As I can remember he worked on the 8-track cassette, fire alarms and other things. (electronic) I thought it was tecumseh products?
